Life as Dez is a Blog about my life, home and exciting things that I don't ever want to forget. 

When we bought our house in July of 2013, I knew I wanted to remember how it all started in the beginning and to see all of the different phases throughout adding our own style and making it home-y. I have always enjoyed home decor and rearranging furniture, but had no idea how to DIY. It all started with pinterest, which lead me to the world of blogs. I could not get enough. Some of the first blogs that inspired me to start my own blog were Young House Love, I Heart Organizing and Hi Sugarplum. I love all of their styles and how creative they are. And so started Life as Dez. 

I am a wife to the most handsome, loving and sincere man and a step momma to the sweetest, most caring, active little man. My boys teach me so much about life each day and it is for them that I am on a mission to make our house a home. I want the little man to have awesome memories of his childhood and to always feel happy in HIS home.
