Home Tour

Since I have been blogging for 5 months, I guess it is time for a partial Home Tour. We are by no means anywhere close to where we want to be in our house, but it is fun to look back to how far we have come.

This picture was taken by a real estate company a year before we bought the house, so it isn't exactly how we bought it. Those rose bushes and other landscaping are very mild to what we inherited.

The below picture is after we added our $20 Traditional Garage Hardware kit (check it out HERE), but before we tackled any trimming or landscape at all. I am waiting for Spring to get in full swing to see if the rose bushes will come back to life. If they don't start livin' a little, then I will take it all out and start from scratch.

As soon as you enter the house it is open to a little entryway (below). The laundry room is the door pictured on the right and a half bathroom is the door pictured on the left. I still want to paint in their, add hardwood floors and get a bigger entryway table.

When you walk in a little further their is the entryway right across from the stairs. This entry wall had some seriously BAD wallpaper. Don't believe me? Check it out. Don't worry we got rid of that on week two of living here. So much better now.

My step-sons room recently got a makeover and some paint and styling has made a World of difference in the little guys room. You can check out that post HERE.

Our backyard lawn furniture got a quick fix, which you can check out HERE.

I will keep adding as I keep transforming.
Stay posted!

    1. Awe thanks so much! I love being able to make it our own home. So much better than renting. I am so jealous that you get to live in Paris! I dream of getting to vacation there one day.
